Each year AUBC and RGUBC battle it out to be crowned the winner of the annual Aberdeen Boat Race. The crews race over a challenging 3.5km course through the City in this fiercely competitive event, now in its 29th year. ​

The course runs from the Bridge of Dee to Aberdeen Boat Club. Races for beginner and alumni crews provide competition for URA rowers both new and experienced. 

The 2024 race saw AUBC maintain their title as the winners of the University Boat Race.
